Kamenovo is the beach locals point you to when the town beaches get too much: a sandy cove a few kilometres east of Budva, tucked between Rafailovići and Pržno. The sand is fine, the water calm and gently shelving, and the whole bay faces west, which means proper sunsets over the sea toward Sveti Stefan rather than behind a hill.
It is an easy beach to spend a whole day on. Sunbed and umbrella concessions line the sand in season, with beach bars behind them, so shade, drinks and lunch are never more than a few steps away. The gentle entry into the water makes it one of the better choices in the area for small children, at least through the daytime hours.
The character shifts as the afternoon wears on. Toward evening, especially in high summer, the music comes up and the crowd skews younger; if you came for a quiet sundowner you will find one, but do not expect a silent beach at 7pm in August.
Getting there is simple: car, taxi, or any local bus heading toward Rafailovići and Pržno, then a short flight of steps down from the coastal road. Parking is the weak point in peak season (the insider notes below cover the two lots and the better bet). The pleasant alternative is to walk from Rafailovići through the road tunnel; it takes only a few minutes on foot.
